Eilon's bought me the most amazing gifts over the years that we've known each other. Each are gifts that I feel were perfectly picked out for just me. For instance, he got me the Alessi Juicer by Philippe Starck. Or my watch, which I needed after my last one had the battery die, which was the exact style and color that I would have chosen (and had looked at on my own previously) AND the date feature. So it's been a long time coming (because I only buy gifts when I find THE gift), but here it is...
And then there's the remodel project. We decided to finally redo the main living space on Saturday. We raced against time (I had dinner with Brian's folks) to pick colors and then the drapery. Eilon picked up the paint and prepped the rooms. We started painting just after 2 or so in the afternoon Sunday and finished at about 11pm. Two days later we finished it up installing the curtains, and putting up the artwork. Not bad!

Angela painting the accent wall. Eilon did all the trim work.
Curtains need another two panels, but this is another view of the Living Room

An accent wall, with curtains to tie in the living room space and the wicker chairs
Eilon made this shelf. We used it to house his liquor collection.
The walls complement the art I had him buy last year... was worried about it clashing!
Eilon postures in his cozy new living room. Need one more "after" photo when the rest of the curtains get put in. One valance and two sheer panels need to be added.
